GEOSurf – Digital Terrain Model

  • Rating12345

Program GEOsurf is a powerful system to calculate the digital terrain model (DTM), generation of contours and their further processing in AutoCAD. It consists of a custom calculation program (TRI.EXE) and LISPovského interface for AutoCAD. Transferring functions to the maximum use of AutoCAD and its interactive graphic function is achieved by very simple control of the entire system. GEOsurf creates a general set of control points (or even mandatory connectors), digital terrain model in the form of triangular irregular network. From this model, then automatically generates contours at arbitrary levels. Product of the DXF files, which can be further processed, not only AutoCAD, but any other DXF compatible software (eg 3D Studio). Means of AutoCAD then you can find cubature, describe the contours and crosshatching, generate terrain profiles, to analyze the model in terms of slope, height and other parameters. Can generate streams. Calculated profiles can be exported into programs al-Nets and AquaCalc. Triangular network model of the terrain (3DFACE) can be used for three dimensional presentation of the terrain, the hiding of invisible edges or vystínováním.
