George Ross Appointed Director of Manufacturing at Velodyne LiDAR

Velodyne LiDAR, Inc., a leading manufacturer of high definition LiDAR sensors, today announced the appointment of George Ross to the position of director of manufacturing.  Ross will be responsible for controlling all operations including the supervision of the manufacturing, production scheduling, purchasing, cost control, efficiencies and quality control of the company. All Velodyne LiDAR products are made in the U.S. and both the HDL-64E and HDL-32E sensors are designed, manufactured and packaged at the company’s headquarters in Morgan Hill.  As an integral member of Velodyne’s management team, Ross is overseeing the design and deployment of a 3,100 square foot clean room along with doubling the manufacturing staff.
