The GIS Section is committed to providing the Urban Planning Council’s planning and development staff with analysis and products to support the planning process by using the most recent and accurate data available. The section plays an active role in forming linkages and standards with external agencies to ensure the best data sources are available for decision making. For the planners within the UPC, making the right decisions means having the very best data available to them.
