Thvilum started working with g.on aimPort by using it when providing services to their numerous Danish customers. These mostly use AutoCad LT with Thvilum GIS to edit and view their maps of water or heating distribution networks. After editing these maps, the users are now able to upload them directly to aimPort and view their edited maps on the Internet.
For this, they don’t need any manual migration as everything works automatically. The water suppliers only need to upload their data to the Thvilum server and everything is performed without their help. g.on aimPort is based on Oracle and data conversion from Autocad to the Oracle server is performed automatically.
