Fugro Starts Major Multi-client Survey in the Netherlands

  • Rating12345

Fugro Multi Client Services has started the NL-DEF-3d multi-client survey in the Netherlands. This major multi-client 3D survey, is designed to provide modern 3D long offset seismic data to boost exploration in the Dutch D, E and F blocks of the North Sea. The survey is covering over 6,000 sq.km extending from the UK until the German offshore border. The survey is located in an under-explored part of the Dutch Offshore where 3D long cable seismic is lacking. The survey will provide new geological information and hydrocarbon concepts that might reduce exploration risks in the area. EBN is the first company that purchased a licence for the entire survey. This is part of their mission to establish 30 bcm of annual gas production from small fields in the Netherlands in 2030. EBN participates in many exploration and production licences in the Dutch Offshore and Onshore and is wholly-owned by the Dutch State. Read More
