The National Geographic Institute ( IGN ) ended onAugust 24 the photogrammetric survey conducted in the province of Chaco, through a cooperative agreement with the provincial government. The study will enrich the database of the province through the images taken, as well as update the national cartography. Thus, the province of Chaco will have a strategic tool for development and planning work. The manager of the flight team was the commander Rodolfo Mansilla, who operated with six people divided into two teams: one air and one land. The study area looked at an area of 300 000 hectares , and had the strength point of reference covering also north of Santa Fe The study will provide accurate data related to vegetation, different soil types, streams, surface levels among other reviews of great importance for the design and planning work. photogrammetric flights in the province of Chaco represent a step in the new policy of strategic alliances for coordinated work with other agencies of Government or the provinces who comes by the IGN.
