DataCAD Announces GrafiCalc 2011

  • Rating12345

DataCAD Software & Services GmbH, a provider of technical software solutions for the industry, today announced the release of GrafiCalc 2011 software from GEOMATE. It enables users to simulate and solve all critical engineering challenges before committing the design to CAD and manufacturing resources. Net results are higher quality
products that can be produced cost-effectively to perform as expected the very first time. GrafiCalc 2011 combines the disciplines of constrained sketching, automated graphical calculations, automated geometry goal seek, motion simulation, transient data collection, and automated Monte Carlo statistical tolerance analysis in a single application. GrafiCalc 2011 can be used standalone as well as in conjunction with Microsoft Office and all popular CAD application on any computer running Vista or Windows. In the latest version of GrafiCalc, the user interface has been enhanced to provide visual feedback from tools and constraints to enhance the function-modeling experience. The matrix-
driven constraint manager has been enhanced to handle multiple level circularities in design intent. Also, the user can now link calculation results as well as any dimension in GrafiCalc function models to Excel calculations and conversely use any value in Excel cells to drive any attribute of any geometry in GrafiCalc function models – this new capability will enable users to create powerful graphical calculation macros to drive Excel calculations.
