The final product maintains a very high quality, high accuracy, 10 cm resolution for the entire area. A product of such superior quality can provide a very useful planning tool for many uses such as: urban and rural planning as well as various management systems, infrastructure development and various other planning and management information and management systems.
The Orthophoto coverage (Vertical and Oblique) includes 25000 square kilometers, all conducted and completed within only 50 hours of flight, enabled by the A3 camera’s exceptional image collection efficiency. The imagery was automatically processed to final data products using Ofek’s A3 automated processing system.
In addition, Ofek has launched in the last year its new LIDAR system worth over 2 million dollars. This system was assembled onto one of Ofek`s Air Crafts and is being used for very high accuracy automated mapping projects. Ofek has had many years of international experience using such complex systems and is currently involved in a large scale, high accuracy mapping project in Eastern Europe.
On top of the above, Ofek has purchased (over 1 million US $) the most recent, state of the art technology – the Mobile Mapper. This land based, specially designed vehicle is capable of providing 3D mapping and 360 degrees solutions during high and low speed movement.
