FARO announces the availability of the new version of SCENE WebShare, its powerful tool for easy and safe sharing of scan data over the Internet. Thanks to WebShare scan projects can be published on a web server with only one click. WebShare permits easy access and sharing of laser scans generated with a FARO Focus3D within a standard web browser.
The new WebShare release 4.9 now allows for direct measurements on the web. Scans shared using WebShare can now be directly analysed on the browser: the overview map provides measure tools for distances and surfaces, while the panorama view allows easy measurement of distances.
With the new WebShare V4.9, Documentation Objects are now available in the panorama view to further enhance 3D Documentation. This functionality enables the user to add information and attach documents using hyperlinks.
