Learn to Make and Share Maps Using Esri’s ArcGIS Online

  • Rating12345

Besides offering a large repository of maps and applications, Esri’s ArcGIS Online provides easy-to-use tools to create and share great-looking web maps. To help you get started, Esri will host the free live training seminar Making and Sharing Maps with ArcGIS Online on May 12, 2011.

During the seminar, you will learn how to create your own map and then share it with the public or your own private group. You will also find out how to access, at no cost, geographic resources such as web maps, map services, applications, and layer/map packages. The presenter will demonstrate how to add features to your maps and create custom pop-up windows and notes to help your map tell a story.

Anyone interested in learning how to make maps and access or share geographic content online is welcome to attend. No prior geographic information system (GIS) knowledge is required.

A broadband Internet connection and an Esri Global Account are needed to watch the live training seminar. Creating an Esri Global Account is easy and free: visit esri.com/lts, click Login, and register your name and address.
