3D Laser Mapping has expanded its sales operation with the appointment of Jon Chicken to the position of Sales Director. Operating in the UK and across mainland Europe Jon will be responsible for managing growth in sales of laser scanning hardware, software and systems including the world’s most accurate mobile mapping system StreetMapper.
“Following a period of notable successes we needed to expand our sales resources in order to sustain growth and continue with the high levels of customer care our clients have come to expect,” commented Dr Graham Hunter, Managing Director of Nottingham based 3D Laser Mapping. “Jon brings together an extensive technical background combined with proven sales experience and he will no doubt prove a valuable addition to the team.”
Jon Chicken, who has a Postgraduate Diploma in Applied and Modern Optics from the University of Reading, joins 3D Laser Mapping from one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of infrared cameras and imaging systems for R&D, process control and surveillance applications. He has previously held a range of specialist sales roles including positions with a manufacturer of environmental test chambers and a supplier of infrared detectors and optoelectronic sensors.
