Isle of Man Government Signs Framework Agreement with Esri UK

Esri UK, the country’s leading provider of geographic information systems (GIS) technology, has announced the completion of a framework agreement with the Isle of Man Government (IoMG) for the future provision of GIS software and services across all its government departments.

The agreement includes the implementation of Esri UK’s LocalView Fusion, a next generation GIS solution that provides local authorities with up-to-date geographical insight, enabling them to align the provision of services with demand, maximise resources and support the delivery of ‘better for less’ services. 

Working with Esri UK for nineteen years, the IoMG has extensive understanding of the powerful ability of GIS to drive smarter government operations, supporting all aspects of decision making. The intention is to use GIS to benefit employees of the Government, citizens of the Isle of Man and the wider public and, specifically, with LocalView Fusion, drive efficiency savings by facilitating greater access to ‘self service’ operations to significantly reduce the cost of servicing citizens’ enquiries.
