BARSC & Bing in the Beaufort at The Bluebird

  • Rating12345

The British Association of Remote Sensing Companies (BARSC) recently hosted their annual lunch at The Bluebird restaurant on London’s fashionable King’s Road. Attendees were treated to three courses of superb food served in the luxurious surroundings of the private Beaufort Room, as well a fascinating presentation from James Bamford and Johannes Kebeck of Bing Maps.

BARSC represents the interests of anyone and everyone involved in the remote sensing industry and is tasked with bringing together companies, end-users and the academic and research establishments to all parties’ mutual benefit. The Association does this by designing and managing a calendar of interesting and valuable presentations that participants get real value from attending.

The Annual Lunch gives all members (and this year prospective members) a chance to swap ideas and comments about one of the country’s most important industries in a relaxed and informal setting. Representatives from the European Space Agency, the Technology Strategy Board and the National Centre for Earth Observation were able to quiz multinational companies and one-man consultancies about their latest developments and offerings.

If you think that membership of the British Association of Remote Sensing Companies would be beneficial to your company please contact Quarry One Eleven Ltd. on[email protected] for all the information you will need.
