New kubit VirtuSurv

  • Rating12345
VirtuSurv is a Windows “stand alone” solution/application. In this context, VirtuSurv is a more “unique” kubit product in the sense that other kubit software solutions are based on the commitment of AutoCAD. We have developed VirtuSurv due to the result of market analysis leading us to the fact that there is still a lack of easy operable, fast working and economically priced solutions for processing of laser scan data. We see demand for a program with a highly visual interface allowing for processing by e.g. using distance measurements – with the additional option to direct chosen coordinates to any type of Windows program, even if is not a CAD based program. Both CAD and non-CAD users can understand and make sense and make use of scan data instantly.

VirtuSurv does not offer the full volume of our AutoCAD based applications in the PointSense family, but it is a program that serves the demands of a market needing to derive precise and quality information from laser scan data in an easy to use environment.

The name “VirtuSurv” comes from “Virtual Surveyor,” however we believe that the program will receive interest by more than just traditional surveyors. We assume that as the use of scan data continues to spread to more applications and industries the laser scan market will need more straightforward applications for these target groups. Read More
