1Spatial Expands Team to Manage Rapidly Growing Business

1Spatial Group, the spatial big data company has made a number of significant hires across the business in its sales and development teams to address the rapidly growing business opportunities.

 

Marcus Hanke, Chief Executive of 1Spatial commented: “These new hires will play key roles in our continued growth focus for the business. They all have proven track records and their skills and experiences will play an important role in 1Spatial achieving our targets.”

James Bateman who joins us from ESRI, Bentley Systems and Welsh Water, will be focussing on Utilities sales.

“Having worked in GIS and Utilities for over ten years I am aware of the challenges the utilities market is facing, from changes in regulation to the introduction of smart technologies,” Bateman said. “At 1Spatial I am really looking forward to helping customers meet these challenges through the use of innovative spatial data solutions.”

Simon Monk has joined 1Spatial from QinetiQ to head up the defence sales team, bringing with him over 20 years’ experience in information technology and IT security from a variety of markets including the finance sector, central government and critical national infrastructure, nuclear industry, Homeland Security, UK and international military.

Douglas Talbot joins from the Bank of New Zealand as 1Spatial?s new Head of Development with overall responsibility for the Company?s growing global development team.
