xyzt.ai kicks off its OGC membership by presenting at the Moving Features and the GEO AI sessions at the 119th OGC Member Meeting.
Leuven – xyzt.ai, a high-tech company offering an innovative visual analytics SaaS (Software as a Service) platform for big location data, has joined the Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC), the global Resource for Geospatial Information and Standards.
For xyzt.ai it’s a pleasure to be part of the OGC community that connects people and technology to solve global challenges and address everyday needs.
Joining as a start-up member, xyzt.ai welcomes this membership and wishes to strengthen its presence amongst the key stakeholders of the geospatial community. xyzt.ai will leverage the membership to accelerate its adoption of industry standards and regulations. Through the membership, it will also contribute to the innovation and proliferation of data-driven geospatial AI algorithms and APIs.
During the upcoming 119th OGC Member meeting on 14 – 18, June 2021, xyzt.ai will make an impact with its sessions on Moving Features and GeoAI, where it will show how tracked location data in combination with data-driven machine learning algorithms are used to detect abnormal and suspicious behavior.
Bart Adams, Founder and CTO at xyzt.ai, comments: “OGC is a unique community that is committed to improving access to geospatial information. Over the past decades, we have seen a maturation of location tracking technologies for outdoor and indoor tracking. These technologies generate vast volumes of data. Data-driven geospatial algorithms, including AI, are now the key to handle these big location data sets for insight generation. Interoperable APIs can then unlock the obtained insights across industries. As AI is a key innovation topic for the OGC, we are thrilled to contribute and are looking forward to making the most of the collaboration. “
Scott Simmons, OGC’s Chief Standards Officer: “OGC is very pleased to have xyzt.ai join our membership and contribute their expertise to improving the way we all use location information. The focus of xyzt.ai on analysis of data in both space and time aligns perfectly with OGC’s expertise and our continued exploration on how to best use Artificial Intelligence with location data in numerous domains, such as maritime, aviation, autonomous navigation, and more.”
