Velosi has announced an association with India’s premier institution IIT Bombay, to offer IIT Bombay’s four-month Online Certificate Course in Piping Engineering. This course is relevant to engineers working in diverse sectors like petroleum refining and downstream processing, manufacturing of fertilisers and chemicals, power plants (thermal, nuclear as well as gas-based), ship building, cross-country pipeline transport of petroleum products, transportation networks for drinking, irrigation and sewage water, district cooling, Third Party Inspection (TPI) companies, EPC, pipe manufacturing, etc.
Professor Moharir from IIT Bombay said: “This is the online version of our classroom course in Piping Engineering as applied to process plant design, engineering and construction. As a matter of fact we have trained more than 7,000 engineers over the past 20 years.”
The course helps organisations to train their engineers online without having to relieve them completely from their duties to attend the course elsewhere.
