The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga has announced plans to launch the Center for Applied Geospatial Data Science.
The new center is expected to build on research, teaching, and partnerships within the community through geospatial data science.
GIS Director Charlie Mix and Assistant GIS Director Nyssa Hunt will lead the launch.
UTC has been a leader in geospatial information innovation for nearly three decades, according to the school.
