Herndon, VA (July 20, 2023) – The United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation (USGIF) is pleased to announce the addition of five esteemed community leaders to its Advisory Committee (AdCom). The AdCom plays a vital role in providing guidance to the USGIF leadership team, helping to shape the Foundation’s strategic direction. Additionally, the committee offers valuable perspectives on how to effectively translate strategy into action. With their extensive knowledge and expertise, the committee members bring a wealth of insights as they conduct research, gather data, analyze trends, and identify emerging issues that are relevant to the geospatial intelligence community.

Committee Members

Ingrid Peterson serves as the chair of the AdCom. She is a partner in Guidehouse’s Defense and Security Segment. Peterson has 20+ years in the federal space, including military and consulting experience. She currently focuses on program and project management services with an emphasis on strategy development and change management for executive level clients, ultimately helping them make informed decisions that align to mission and meet customer expectations. Her portfolio includes Navy, Coast Guard, NGA, and Defense Intelligence Agency. FULL BIO

Titus Jeffries, Division Manager in the Leidos Intelligence Group, is responsible for directing and growing the division, providing mission operations and support to the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) across the United States. In this role, he manages 800 employees and the relationship with NGA customers and business partners. Over a distinguished 25-year career, Mr. Jeffries has spent the past 13 years in the Intelligence space, holding positions in program/portfolio management, system engineering, IT management, solution architecture, contract research & development, and capture management positions. Tom Lash is CEO of ESi/Meadowgate, a national security company providing innovative mission solutions to the U.S. Intelligence Community. Lash is a senior leader in technology and management, supporting the federal market for nearly 30 years, specializing in innovative intelligence systems. He holds a patent in intelligent database update technology and is a frequent speaker at industry conferences on emerging technologies, including geospatial intelligence, emerging business models, data analytics, and cloud computing. Skip Maselli is Vice President, Public Sector for Pixxel Space Technologies, Inc., a commercial satellite company working in the hyperspectral imaging technology space. He has over 35 years of experience as an executive, strategist, business growth leader, program manager, and technologist within the public sector and defense and intelligence community. He is a former Army intelligence officer, conducting military operations, instructing imagery intelligence analysts and collection managers, space imaging research and development, and defense systems fielding. Vice Admiral Bob Sharp, USN (Ret.) served as the Director of NGA from February 2019 until June 2022. As Director, he and his team were responsible for delivering world-class geospatial intelligence to provide a decisive advantage to policymakers, military service members, intelligence professionals, first responders, and international partners. He is known for his extensive experience developing and motivating cohesive teams to solve complex problems in dynamic situations. He leveraged the global pandemic challenges as an opportunity to reimagine and improve business processes, helping his agency emerge stronger, more agile, and more human from the experience.
