AECOM has been recognized for its involvement in 31 overall and 7 of the top 10 projects featured in the 2012 “Top 100 Infrastructure Projects” annual report on Canadian infrastructure activity by ReNew Canada magazine. The report, widely considered to be the leading source on Canadian infrastructure trends and data, suggests that AECOM is among the most active architectural and engineering design firms in Canada for large-scale infrastructure projects. AECOM received one of three Platinum Elite badges awarded by ReNew Canada to firms with more than 20 projects in the Top 100 Projects. Projects involving AECOM as a professional services provider placed at or near the top for most of the primary industry sectors considered by the report. These sectors include Transit (Eglinton Crosstown Light Rail Transit Project), Transportation (Turcot Interchange), Energy (Romaine Complex A Renewable Energy Project), Water and Wastewater (Woodward Avenue Wastewater Treatment Plant Expansion and Upgrades) and Health Care (Centre hospitalier de l’université de Montréal Redevelopment).
