Three Reasons Not to Miss Intergraph’s Geospatial World Tour

  • Rating12345

Intergraph’s Geospatial World Tour is well underway, with hundreds experiencing the power of the Geospatial 2013 Portfolio firsthand. Geospatial 2013 is genuinely significant, going well beyond an incremental version release. It unites the ERDAS and GeoMedia product families into ONE streamlined suite, enabling you to exploit capabilities across products and disciplines spanning GIS, remote sensing, and photogrammetry. By working together, they amplify the benefits you can achieve.

If I were asked to pick one new capability that represents the innovation and impact of this portfolio, it would be Spatial Modeler. Here are three reasons why:

  1. The combination of power and accessibility – the simplicity with which the visual editing tool lets you create seriously powerful analysis routines (combining and orchestrating data and functions) is incredible.
  2. Fusion of remote sensing and GIS – the addition of vector and grid operators from GeoMedia to the existing image processing functions makes Spatial Modeler an eloquent demonstration of how combining the ERDAS and GeoMedia product families has enabled innovation and blurred the boundaries between remote sensing and GIS.
  3. Enabling wider and more effective exploitation of spatial information and capabilities throughout an entire organization, and beyond – the ability to publish the models using OGC Web Processing Services enables the widest audience to configure, execute, and apply the power of dynamic modeling without the need for specialist training, software, or hardware.

Spatial Modeler is only one element of ERDAS IMAGINE, which is itself just one of the 64 products that make up the 2013 release. There’s something for everyone. What capabilities most interest you?
