TerraSim® Demonstrates New Technology at I/ITSEC 2018

  • Rating12345

At I/ITSEC 2018 in Orlando, Florida, TerraSim will introduce our new terrain server technology which underpins BISim’s cloud-enabled simulation solution for the U.S. Army Synthetic Training Environment (STE) program.

Our STE World Server (STEWS) is a geospatial data server that provides efficient networked access to the various data sources required for rendering applications. STEWS provides a curated database of terrain data layers that can be streamed at run-time using open standards into any STE-connected client application.

The STEWS plug-in architecture makes it easy to leverage new and legacy formats, develop additional streaming protocols, and connect data processing tools to modify and optimize the data.

We will also be demonstrating the latest updates to our products:

TerraTools updates

  • Support for VBS3 v18.2 and v18.3
  • Support for latest VBS Blue IG 18.2 and 18.3
  • Support for OneSAF v8.6, 8.7, and 8.8 (includes WARSIM)

MaterialMAP updates

  • Batch processing capability
  • Project settings load and save functionality

Building Designer updates

  • Export formats now include FBX, FLT, Steel Beasts and JCATS buildings

TerraSim invites you to visit us at I/ITSEC to learn more about our products, technologies and future roadmap. Join us at I/ITSEC booth #2235 or contact us at [email protected]
