TerraGo, a leading global provider of location intelligence software solutions, announced today the appointment of Chris Broderick as president and chief executive officer.

The TerraGo Board of Directors named Broderick to manage the company’s continued growth and scale operations as part of a strategic development plan, following a successful round of growth financing. A software industry veteran with a proven track record at early stage companies, Broderick brings to TerraGo more than fifteen years of executive leadership managing companies along the growth curve. Broderick was most recently the CEO of GroupLogic, which was acquired by Acronis in 2012.

Along with Broderick’s appointment, TerraGo has relocated its corporate headquarters to Washington, D.C. to improve collaboration and optimize support for the company’s strategically important defense and intelligence customer base. TerraGo’s existing offices in Atlanta and Los Angeles, which have produced some of the most widely adopted geospatial technologies in the industry, will remain engineering centers of excellence.

“TerraGo’s future success requires not only new growth capital, but also new leadership with proven strategic and operational experience,” said TerraGo Chairman Dave Ellison. “I am confident that Chris is the right leader to guide the next phase of the company’s growth, while maintaining the excellence in customer service and product innovation for which TerraGo is known.”

“TerraGo is in a very strong position with market-leading solutions and a growing customer base of the most technologically advanced and discerning customers in the industry,” said Broderick. “I am truly excited at the opportunity to join a company with such a strong foundation of proven technology, talented employees, industry-leading partners and loyal customers.”

With a strategic group of partners, including leading systems integrators and software providers, and more than 1,000 global customers, including thought leaders in defense and intelligence, crisis response, transportation and natural resources, TerraGo solutions enable organizations to discover, integrate and deliver location intelligence to the edge of the enterprise and back.
