Trimble (NASDAQ:TRMB) introduced today the Trimble® Positions™ Mobile extension – a new streamlined choice for integrating Trimble’s GNSS professional field solutions and data verification into the Esri ArcGIS for Windows Mobile environment.

Trimble announced today that it has acquired privately-held GEOTrac Systems Inc. of Calgary, a leading provider of wireless fleet management and worker safety solutions for the oil and gas industry. The addition of GEOTrac is expected to extend PeopleNet’s industry-leading transportation solutions to address the North American oil and gas industry. Financial terms were not disclosed.
