A video posted on YouTube yesterday demonstrates a high-resolution imagery capture with Autodesk’s Octo-Copter to search for ancestral trails in Kenya. The drone platform has previously been demonstrated by Autodesk in a flight around their headquarters, with the capture still images and video for rendering in 3D via their 123D catch software.
