Esri, the world’s leader in geographic information systems, announced today that Geoloqi, a powerful platform for next-generation location-based services, will merge its staff and capabilities into Esri’s existing geospatial platform and launch a new Esri Research and Development Center in Portland, Oregon, where the company is headquartered. BAO Canada Edition gives US-based multinational corporations that do business north of the border demographic, income, and business data for Canadian markets. DigitalGlobe today announced that Esri has licensed the rights for DigitalGlobe’s Global Basemap imagery layer. The announcement was made at the Esri International User Conference, occurring this week in San Diego, California.
