SPOT Satellite Coverage of Siberian and Far Eastern Areas in Open Access

Basic satellite coverage of “Kosmosnimki.Ru” geoportal now includes SPOT mosaic of the territory of over 5 million square kilometers, covering 14 federal constituents in Siberia and Far East of Russia, as well as South-Western areas of Krasnoyarsk Territory. In early August satellite coverage of SPOT with resolution of 10 m was posted in the Kosmosnimki.Ru web resource. The mosaics were prepared by the specialists of the “Geomonitoring” center, established at the Moscow State University of Geodesy and Cartography together with ScanEx RDC. Images of 2007-2011, acquired and processed at ScanEx, were used to create the satellite coverage. Read More
