SPOT 4/5 and FORMOSAT-2 Imagery Tasking Initiated

  • Rating12345

Expecting the new 2011 imagery season ScanEx RDC starts to collect orders to create the imagery tasking plan with respect to SPOT 4/5 and FORMOSAT-2 satellites. This year additional fees for target imaging were cancelled for the first time.

Remaining committed to the idea of democratic access to satellite imagery data, ScanEx RDC organized the reception of data from SPOT 5 and FORMOSAT-2 satellite in open access mode to the proprietary network of ground receiving stations, thus enabling to reduce the image prices for end-users. In addition, starting 2010 ScanEx has exclusive rights to work with SPOT 4/5 and FORMOSAT-2 data covering the territory of Russia and Belarus.
Today you may choose between different new tasking modes:— Background – orders are placed without advance payments and with minimum imaging priority;— Standard – orders are placed with 50% of advance payment and with standard imaging priority;— Priority – orders are placed with 100% of advance payment and with maximum imaging priority.
