Significant Wind Energy Advances in Peru

Green light for the construction of 3 wind power (140 MW) and 4 solar photovoltaic (80 MW) plants to be put into service by 2012. Peru gave green light for the construction of 3 new wind farm and 4 solar power plants, for a total capacity of 220 MW, whose concessions had been offered in a bidding tender that was held at the beginning of the year.
