Russia’s 2nd GLONASS-K Satellite to Launch Feb 2012

Russia’s second Global Navigation Satellite System (GLONASS) satellite with enhanced features, called GLONASS-K, is expected to be carried into orbit in February 2012, satellite maker Reshetnev Information Satellite Systems said, RIA Novosti reported. The exact date was not provided. The first GLONASS-K satellite was put into orbit in February 2011.
