Robert Leslie Joins ARCADIS as Senior Engineer

ARCADIS the international consulting and engineering company, today announced that Robert Leslie has joined the Walnut Creek office as a senior engineer II. Leslie brings over 16 years of environmental consulting experience to ARCADIS. In his new role, he will be responsible for coordinating and supervising environmental investigation and remediation projects for our industrial and energy sector clients. He will also be coordinating regulatory agency compliance issues, preparing and reviewing remedial designs, taking the lead in assembling and managing project teams and providing technical assistance to our clients’ legal counsel as needed.

Prior to joining ARCADIS, Leslie was a senior engineer at Michael Pisani & Associates, Inc. in New Orleans. He managed a wide variety of environmental investigation and site cleanup projects, ranging from civil tort litigation support to helping negotiate the successful relocation of an operating child daycare center from the site of a former landfill and industrial waste burn pit. Leslie’s supervision of the successful destruction of over 9.5 million pounds of waste oil from a former shipyard received a positive endorsement from the Environmental Protection Agency’s Region VI Resource Conservation and Recovery Act Division.
