At Pivotal, you will:

  •  Engage with the thought leaders and entrepreneurs leading spatial technologies that disrupt traditional solutions.
  • Learn how spatial technologies are solving big challenges facing governments and business.
  • Understand the future opportunities for integrating spatial technologies in business and government administration.

After attending Pivotal, you will be equipped with information and insights to help:

  •  Build networks with international innovators and disrupters.
  • Challenge everyday thinking and decision-making to lead change within your organisations andindustries.
  • Revolutionise the way your products and services are delivered to stay one step ahead.

We have finalised an exciting and comprehensive program, featuring representatives from internationally recognised organisations including from:

  • NASA – Dr Jonathan Trent, Director of the OMEGA Global Initiative. Dr Trent will change our relationship to the ocean, our attitudes about sea-level rise, and remind us that ‘we are not  passengers on Spaceship Earth’ but we are the crew.
  • The US State Department – Dr Lee Schwartz, Director of the Office of the Geographer and Global Issues. Dr Schwartz will talk about why location science is important for analytics, understanding and communication in business, government, and community.
  • Deloitte – Graeme Newton, Head of the Australian Crisis Management business including its Centre of Excellence for Crisis Management for the South East Asia region. Mr Newton directed Queensland’s disaster relief funds during the 2011 major floods in his role as the former CEO of the Queensland Reconstruction Authority. At the time, he was responsible for the $14 billion reconstruction program for disasters between 2010 and 2014.
  • Dr Patrick Meier is a Crisis Mapper and internationally recognised thought leader on humanitarian technology and innovation. TIME magazine featured a story on his work – When technology helps us become more human. He is currently working on the aftermath of Nepal’s second major earthquake.

…plus many more opportunities to collaborate and provoke thinking between leading minds, government decision makers, and business – only at Pivotal.
