Redlands GIS Week is being held at Esri’s state-of-the-art headquarters in Redlands, California. The week is dedicated to debating the present and future of creating, integrating, and extracting value from Volunteered Geographic Information (VGI). Participants will connect with their peers and exchange ideas on advancing geospatial decision making, problem solving, and innovative solutions across industries.

This second annual event, Volunteered Geographic Information (VGI): Real-Time and Emergency Applications, is co-sponsored by the University of Southern California, Esri, and the University of Redlands. It will bring together key scientists working on integrating VGI into multiple decision-making workflows, from citizen science to emergency response to social media applications. Attendees will discuss options for publishing the results of the meeting either online or in printed peer-reviewed journals. Read More
