The National Geodetic Reference Framework is the essential foundation on which rests all the mapping of the country. No frame of reference no mapping possible. The National Geographic Institute through the National Law of the Charter and Administrative Provision 526/96, National is responsible for establishing, maintaining, updating and improving the National Geodetic Reference Frame. On this framework perform their tasks Provinces, Municipalities, cadastral, public, private and home users. The frameworks are currently being defined very precisely through the permanent stations installed throughout the world, those that receive data continuously from the NAVSTAR satellite constellation and GLONASS.
