COPENHAGEN, November 25, 2015 — Phase One Industrial today announced the Phase One Software Development Kit (SDK) 8.3.3 in Linux, Windows and Mac OS versions. This SDK provides tools that enable users to build custom applications to control the way Phase One aerial cameras capture and process images. It enables users to precisely control which parameters to apply — such as capture frequency, exposure values and white balance – while capturing or processing images from a Phase One aerial camera.
The Phase One SDK includes interface components for custom applications to work with the Phase One cameras in a production set up. It also includes components to automate image processing with user settings through the Capture One Processing Engine, without a need for loading or navigating the standard user interface of Capture One. The Phase One SDK includes reference documentation and sample applications for guidance and inspiration as well as access to SDK updates.
Engefoto, a Brazilian aerial data acquisition company, used the Phase One SDK to develop its own camera control software. Ari Raimundo, Software Engineer said, “Our software, called CaptureiXA, is used to control two cameras (one iXA 180 and one iXA 160 Achromatic) which are part of our 4-channel Doppia system. Our software controls the exposure and simultaneous triggering of the two cameras. The SDK’s methods are well documented and include many examples of how to use it. The speed performance is also very good. Its straightforward use allowed us to integrate it into our software very easily.”

This latest release comes in three versions; Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 10 (all 32-bit and 64-bit versions), Linux (Ubuntu 14.04 LTS) and Apple Mac OS 10.8 and later. It also supports the newest Phase One aerial cameras and IQ3 digital backs.
