  • Rating12345

1Spatial, the spatial big data company which manages some of the world’s largest spatial data, and a Gold level member of Oracle Partner Network (OPN), today announced it has achieved OPN Specialized status for Oracle Spatial.

To achieve OPN Specialized status, Oracle partners are required to meet a stringent set of requirements that are based on the needs and priorities of the customer and partner community. By achieving a Specialized distinction, 1Spatial has been recognized by Oracle for its expertise in delivering services specifically around Oracle Spatial through competency development, business results and proven success.

1Spatial has been implementing spatial solutions for over 25 years and as such has built up an extensive knowledge base and skilled personnel within the company. With the 1Spatial Management Suite leveraging Oracle?s technology stack, many of the solutions delivered combine both 1Spatial and Oracle components. This experience has enabled 1Spatial to become formally recognized by Oracle.

“With the ever growing volumes of spatial data, organisations now need to find ways to be more efficient and consistent with their data capture, maintenance and publication processes and ensure their data is accurate, up-to-date and managed to a guaranteed standard,” commented Duncan Guthrie, Strategic Alliances Director, 1Spatial. “We are delighted to achieve Oracle PartnerNetwork Specialization for Oracle Spatial, which is leveraged by 1Spatial Management Suite to provide the end user with a very powerful solution for spatial data management.”

“Location has become key to a host of standard business processes. The Oracle Spatial Specialization adds another technology area, enabling 1Spatial to expand its reach still further into this fast growing market and recognizes their ability to deliver high end spatial solutions to a wide range of market sectors,” commented Will O’Brien, Vice President, Worldwide Alliances and Channels, Oracle UK and Ireland.

The 1Spatial Management Suite, 1Spatial’s data management environment, provides a suite of products to efficiently and consistently plan, maintain and publish spatial data, whilst also automating production workflows. The suite enables organisations to:

  • Rapidly respond to real-world change ensuring their data is always current, accurate and trusted
  • Increase productivity and reduce operational costs by adopting automated data management and quality assurance workflows
  • Meet continually changing market needs with scalable and flexible on-demand product generation.
