Feb. 19, 2015 — Optech is pleased to announce that it will present and exhibit at the International LiDAR Mapping Forum in Denver, CO, USA on February 23-25, 2015, where senior personnel will describe how Optech’s new Galaxy and Titan systems are challenging industry paradigms and blazing new application opportunities with innovative new solutions.
Michael Sitar, Business Manager for Airborne Mapping Solutions, will present a detailed review of the factors that affect lidar blind zone and transition zone sizes and their relative impacts on data collected with multipulse technology, starting at 9:30 AM on Tuesday, February 24th in the Mineral Hall. He will further explain how the recently released Optech Galaxy airborne lidar sensor has eliminated these zones, enabling seamless datasets at all pulse repetition frequencies, at all scan fields of view, and in all terrain types for consistent point density and improved collection efficiency.
The next day, Optech VP of Advanced Technology Dr. Paul LaRocque will deliver a workshop on new applications for airborne lidar enabled by the Optech Titan, the world’s first commercially available multispectral airborne lidar sensor. Explore land cover classification, topographic mapping and shallow-water bathymetry using Titan at 9:00 AM on Wednesday, February 25th in the Capitol Ballroom.
Come visit us at booth 26 in the exhibition hall for more detailed information regarding all Optech products, including airborne, mobile and static lidar and camera systems.
