The Deputy Director of the Town and Country Planning, Mr. Lawrence Dakurah, explained that it has come as a responsibility of the Town and Country Planning (TCP) under the Ministry of Environment Science and Technology (MEST) charged with the mandate of planning and managing the growth and development of cities, town and villages in Ghana.
