MundoGEO#Connect LatinAmerica 2014 Website is Now Available

MundoGEO#Connect LatinAmerica, Conference and Trade Fair on Geomatics and Geospatial Solutions (http://mundogeoconnect.com/2014/), reaches its fourth edition and launches its new website. Since 2011 focusing on interaction and connectivity and bringing together experts, researchers, users and executives, MundoGEO#Connect has been revealing the geospatial market potential in Latin America, through a whole new concept of event.

In 2014 the conference and trade fair will be held from May 7 thru 9 May at the Frei Caneca Convention Center, in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and its preliminary program in already available in the website. “In the fourth edition of MundoGEO#Connect, our focus is to strengthen partnerships with universities, bringing more participants from other Latin American countries and increasing the activities options for the geospatial solutions users. To make this possible, we are preparing a program with 20 courses, 7 seminars and 3 special events, offering interactive spaces that will promote the innovation”, says Emerson Granemann, director of MundoGEO#Connect.

MundoGEO#Connect trade fair brings together annually the greatest brands and companies in the geospatial industry. “Just eight months before the event, most of the booths are already sold or reserved. Companies as Hexagon , CPE Tecnologia , Alezi Teodolini , Furtado Schmidt, Santiago & Cintra Geo-Tecnologias, Somenge, Garmin, Carlson, Embratop and Santiago & Cintra Consultoria have already confirmed their participation”. Emerson also shares his feedback about the attendees profile of the previous edition.”In 2013, the event was attended by 3,540 people, as follows: 28% presidents and directors, 26% managers and coordinators, 37% from the technical sector and 9% were university students and professors. Our expectation is to attract more then 4,000 professionals that will attend the trade fair and the 30 activities planned for the 2014 conference”.
