LIVERMORE, Calif., September 17, 2015 — Ed McCaffery has joined Topcon Positioning Systems as a North American regional manager for geospatial sales.
McCaffery most recently worked for Topcon dealer Positioning Solutions Company as the head of their unmanned aerial system (UAS)/mass data group, working with a variety of UAS products, software and workflows.
“Ed’s experience gives him a clear understanding of UAS technology and the competitive edge Topcon has in the aerial mapping marketplace,” said Charles Rihner, vice president of the Topcon GeoPositioning Solutions Group. “We are thrilled to have his strong knowledge base in the mass data collection area — serving the aerial solutions needs of our current and future customers. He is a great asset to our growing team.”

McCaffery will report to Dave Henderson, director, geospatial sales.
