Pitney Bowes Business Insight (PBBI) today announced the UK launch of Pitney Bowes MapInfo Professional v11.0, the latest version of the company’s flagship solution for business and mapping analysis. MapInfo Professional is a powerful Microsoft Windows-based mapping application that enables organisations to capitalise on location-based data, gaining deeper insights into their customers, resources and overall operations to make better informed decisions.
MapInfo Professional v11.0 addresses key usability and business problems related to spatial data creation, analysis, access and the cost associated with spatial data management. Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council uses a PBBI solution comprising MapInfo Professional, MapInfo Manager and MapInfo Stratus. Customer and Geographical Information Analyst at the Council, Andrew D’Andilly welcomes the introduction of MapInfo Professional 11.0. “By integrating the three solutions we have halved the council cost as compared to a purely on-premise solution.
