GfK’s Map of the Month for November shows the regional distribution of purchasing power in Europe in 2021.
According to GfK’s latest purchasing power study, Europeans have an average of €15,055 per person available for spending and saving in 2021. This means that per capita purchasing power has a nominal growth of 1.9 percent in 2021. However, the gap between rich and poor in the 42 evaluated countries is substantial: Liechtenstein tops the rankings with €64,629 per person, while last-ranked Ukraine has just €1,892 per person.

GfK Purchasing Power 2021 is available for 42 European countries at detailed regional levels such as municipalities and postcodes, along with seamlessly fitting data on inhabitants and households as well as digital maps.
