GfK’s Map of the Month for November shows the distribution of purchasing power in Europe in 2019.
According to GfK’s latest purchasing power study, Europeans have an average of €14,739 per person available for spending and saving in 2019, which equates to growth of approximately 3.5 percent. But the gap between rich and poor in the 42 evaluated countries is substantial: Liechtenstein tops the rankings with €67,550 per person, while last-ranked Ukraine has just €1,830 per person.

The study “GfK Purchasing Power Europe 2019” is available for 42 European countries at detailed regional levels such as municipalities and postcodes, along with seamlessly fitting data on inhabitants and households as well as digital maps. Purchasing power insights allow retailers and manufacturers to sell and promote their products and services in the most promising regions.
