Dan Culli, a Locana GIS Consultant, will present on how The Thames Estuary Asset Management 2100 (TEAM2100) programme, which is the UK Environment Agency’s largest flood-risk management initiative, has leveraged a variety of web and mobile GIS applications to collect and consume data. Intelligence-led asset management has enabled more informed decision-making while creating efficiencies across the programme. Culli will provide an overview of the ‘Estuary Eye’ application, which provides all TEAM2100 members online access to 8+TB of geospatial data ranging from basic asset information to 3D models, 360 imagery and georeferenced UAV video. “We are thrilled to be presenting at Geospatial World Forum. Geospatial solutions for climate change deliver mapping and location analysis to support decision-making that drives economic growth, protects lives and property, and maintains ecosystem vitality. Open source solutions enable data sharing among nations worldwide. For countries with fewer resources, accessing open data generated by scientific communities and international organizations fosters greater collaboration and exchange,” said Dianna Herbst, Locana Senior Marketing Director. “At GeoBIM, Locana will highlight how high-quality data has enabled The Thames Estuary Asset Management 2100 (TEAM2100) programme to make more informed decisions, identify issues and opportunities, and plan work. By using location intelligence and maps, the team has been able to perform analysis that provides predictive maintenance and reduces the need to respond to asset failures.”
