The presentation, titled “Using LizardTech Geospatial Products as part of Enterprise GIS Viewer Workflow”, will be given by one of LizardTech’s end users, Geospatial Unit Leader John Peterson of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and will take place from 8:30 – 9:45 a.m. in SDCC, Room 28D.
In addition, on Tuesday from 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at the Imagery Island Demo Theater in Exhibit Hall C, Jon Skiffington, LizardTech’s director of product management, will give a presentation titled “Easily Manage Large Imagery & LiDAR Datasets.”
LizardTech will also have a presence on Wednesday night at the Imagery Social taking place at the Upper Level City Side Corridor on the second floor of the convention center from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Esri attendees interested in attending the Imagery Social can stop by LizardTech booth number 1317 prior to Wednesday evening to pick up an invitation.
“This year LizardTech is celebrating the 20th anniversary of MrSID,” said Jon Skiffington, director of product management. “Many attendees at the Esri conference may remember what it was like before MrSID made it easy to work with large image datasets on the desktop. Esri and its users were some of the first to embrace MrSID, so we hope the attendees will join us in celebrating this milestone.”
LizardTech will conduct product demonstrations at their booth, number 1317, of GeoExpress® software, which enables geospatial professionals to compress and manipulate satellite and aerial imagery, Express Server® software for high-performance delivery and publication, and LiDAR Compressor™ software, which turns giant point cloud datasets into efficient MrSID files.
