  • Rating12345

Esri’s ArcGIS Runtime Software Development Kit (SDK) for iOS gives you the ability to add geographic information system (GIS) functionality to your customized, lightweight apps for Apple iOS devices. To familiarize yourself with this software development kit (SDK), watch Introduction to ArcGIS Runtime SDK for iOS on April 11, 2013. This free, live training seminar will focus on what is needed to use the SDK, the different types of functionality you can add to your apps, and how to deploy your apps.

After viewing this seminar, you will understand how to do the following:

  • Integrate mobile apps into your organization’s workflows
  • Develop applications that will give your users the ability to view and navigate maps, collect and report data, and perform GIS analyses
  • Deploy apps via the Apple App Store and iTunes

The seminar will be helpful to Esri technology users who use ArcGIS for Server to provide data and want to make that data available via iOS devices. GIS and iOS developers also are encouraged to attend so they can learn about the different types of custom applications they can build using ArcGIS Runtime SDK for iOS.

You will need a broadband Internet connection and an Esri Global Account to watch the live training seminar. Creating an Esri Global Account is easy and free: visit esri.com/lts, click Login, and register your name and address.
