Registration for the “Remote sensing of wildfires” contest has started. The contest is carried out on GIS-Lab.info platform, the leading Russian Internet-resource, dedicated to practical aspects of remote sensing and to geographical information systems. Contest participants are to develop methods of automated or semi-automated detection of burned areas within 2000-2011 period using remote sensing data.
