Proven Sales Team Leadership to Strengthen Vortex’s Go-to-Market Strategy

(HOUSTON, TX) – The Vortex Companies, a leading provider of advanced trenchless water and sewer technologies and infrastructure renewal services, announced today announced today the promotion of Jaclyn (Jackie) Herrera, Chief Marketing Officer, to the new and expanded role of Chief Marketing Officer & SVP of Product Sales. In this augmented role, Jackie will lead the company’s customer experience and territory sales managers as well as the marketing team in a more unified approach to communicating and promoting Vortex’s broad products and solutions portfolio.

“We have  incredibly strong and diverse marketing and sales teams,” said Mike Vellano, Vortex Companies’ CEO. “Under Jackie’s leadership and history of success, we will create powerful synergies in the marketplace.”

“I am extremely excited to take on this challenge of leading Vortex Product Sales,” commented Herrera. “I am honored to be working with such an experienced team. Their product knowledge and deep understanding of the marketplace combined with our portfolio of solutions makes Vortex a powerhouse  in the trenchless community with an unsurpassed commitment and ability to serve customers.”

Herrera spent the first half of her 19-year career working at two Houston-based brand and marketing agencies. Proving to be an adept brand manager and marketing strategist, she quickly rose through the ranks into leadership positions.

In 2010, Herrera was hired by The Weir Group’s Oil & Gas Division to lead its global marketing and branding efforts after it entered a new market in the Upstream Land Sector. Over the course of 10 years, Herrera had multiple roles, including overseeing the company’s marketing communications, branding, wellhead business development, and sales programs. She also led the Artificial Lift product line and led operations for the North America Wellhead manufacturing plant.

“Jackie has led successful sales teams in the past and has had a tremendous impact in her first year at Vortex. We are excited to see what she can bring to her new role,” Vellano said.
