Geomarketing software offers numerous innovations for its 30th anniversary

Bruchsal, Germany, March 22, 2021 – The latest version of RegioGraph is now available. GfK’s geomarketing software has been used by companies across all sectors for the past 30 years, supporting them in sales, marketing, controlling and expansion. In the anniversary year, in addition to updated 2021 maps and purchasing power data, users can again expect numerous innovations, including a calculation wizard for determining workload, an integrated histogram for setting ideal value limits, and a tool for calculating an individual benchmark score.

RegioGraph offers companies an easy-to-use yet powerful software solution for all location-related decisions, such as market and target group analyses, sales territory planning and optimization, and expansion planning. Thanks to the software, they can visualize their internal company data such as customers and sales on the digital map and link it to other detailed data on potential such as GfK Purchasing Power 2021, which is already included. This allows users to see at a glance where the company has weaknesses in terms of market development, where new market opportunities can be found and how these can be efficiently developed. RegioGraph’s areas of application range from target group localization, product line and marketing optimization to sales territory planning and the planning of effective branch or delivery networks.

Patrick de la Chaux, senior consultant and RegioGraph training instructor for GfK’s Geomarketing solution area, explains: “For 30 years, our geomarketing software has provided an important basis for decision-making for companies in all industries. And the success of RegioGraph speaks for itself: More than 40,000 users visualize their data on digital maps with our software. This is not least because we strongly incorporate the wishes and needs of our customers in the development of new and innovative features. I’m delighted that RegioGraph is still so popular after 30 years – and that we were able to integrate so many new and helpful tools into the software again in our anniversary year.”

Innovations in 2021:

  • Calculation wizard: Use the new calculation wizard to determine your sales team’s ideal workload for customer visits. This provides you with a realistic basis to plan and optimize your targets.
  • Histogram: The newly integrated histogram helps you set the ideal value limits to achieve better informative value of your analyses.
  • Benchmark score: The newest version of RegioGraph calculates a score based on your custom criteria and weighting. This allows you to compare the performance of your locations according to revenues, retail space and inhabitants of an area.
  • Current maps and data (purchasing power, inhabitants and households) for Germany, Austria and Switzerland as of 2021 or for another European country of your choice (the latest available status for each).
