OpenGeo today announced that Kenneth Bossung has been appointed senior vice president of sales. With deep experience in geospatial web services, IT and systems integration professional services, Bossung brings a strong combination of sales expertise and entrepreneurial leadership to the web-based geospatial technology provider. A former founder and partner at IONIC Enterprise, Bossung defined and led strategic sales and business development activities for the OGC web services pioneer. After IONIC’s acquisition by software leader ERDAS Inc. in 2007, Bossung led commercial sales in Canada, the US and Latin America, overseeing ERDAS partners and a direct sales force. Learn More
